The Equity Toolkit is a four-course online series. It provides the knowledge, language, skills and framework needed to become proficient working across cultures. The courses are offered in a sequence, with concepts and skills introduced in earlier courses becoming a foundation for strategic and systemic action by the end.

Why Should I Take These Courses with DeEtta?

DeEtta is a lifelong teacher and student of E,D&I, individual and organizational transformation. These courses leverage all of those experiences and deliver to you only what she has found to be most essential and effective elements over time.
How Do I Register a Group for a Course?
Complete and submit the Group Inquiry Form (insert link) and we will follow up with you. Make sure to let us know the number of people you would like to register, and when you would like the course to be made available.
How can I learn more about Additional Features as part of a group course offering?

How many people can be in the same group offering?
We can accommodate up to 250 people in one customized offering.
What if I want to make the course available to more than 250 people?
No problem. We can set up more than one group course for you. Contact us and we will work with you to figure out the best approach for your organization.
What are the benefits of a group offering?
The benefit of a group offering is that you can have a shared experience and create shared language across an entire group, the perfect foundation for an organization that wants to get everyone on the same page regarding equity, diversity and inclusion. We can also include additional features to group packages. those might include a live webinar with DeEtta, an in-person speech at your place of business, or even customized coaching.
When will I have access to the course content?
Once you enroll and get your login and password, you will immediately have access to all course content.
How much time to do I have to complete the course?
The courses are self-paced, so you can complete it on your own schedule. We assume 5-10 hours of focused time is needed to complete The Essentials of Cultural Competence, Reducing the Negative Impact of Bias in the Workplace, and The Inclusive Manager’s Communication Toolkit. You should allow up to 20 hours, for reading, watching videos and completing assignments associated with The Strategy, Structures and Culture of an Inclusive Workplace course.
For group offerings, however, a specific beginning and ending date will apply; optimally, a 4-6 week window. This ensures that everyone in the group is completing the course on the same schedule and can benefit from any Additional Features.
What if I need additional time to complete the course?
The courses are self-paced so you can complete them on your own schedule. You will not lose access to the site nor the content. For group offerings of 40 or more you will only have access to a Dedicated Customer Success partner through the end of the agreed upon window of time.
What will I get if I pay for this course?
You will have access to all of the features and content you need to earn a Course Certificate. If you complete the course successfully, your Certificate will be sent to you via email. Note that the Course Certificate does not represent official academic credit.
Each course is like an interactive textbook, featuring pre-recorded videos, assessments, and self-studies.
The course is self-paced so you can engage in professional development on your schedule.
Certificates of completion will be sent via email to participants upon completion of each of the course requirements. Requirements include reading module content and viewing associated videos, completing exercises, and submitting questionnaires, pre- and post-tests.
