Jennifer Lasik is a DJA consultant. She contributes to clients her strengths in assessment, leading focus groups, strategic planning, strategy, facilitation, and equity, diversity and inclusion.
Jennifer’s driving experience is in public administration and nonprofit management. For the past ten years she has guided local governments and nonprofit organizations in leveraging the performing and visual arts to bring communities together, facilitate important social and political conversations, and partner with social services to bring creative and therapeutic programming to underserved and vulnerable populations within the community. She has directed municipal divisions in cities as varied as rural Kemmerer, WY and metropolitan Evanston in the Chicago area. With a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin and Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the Helen Bader Institute, Jennifer has used her unique blend of knowledge and skills to assess, prescribe and implement organizational change and development and to facilitate efforts in strategic communications and change management for 501C3 organizations in cities such as Milwaukee, Harrisburg, El Paso, Tacoma and Jackson Hole.
Jennifer’s passion is working with teams to create livable, resilient communities and to ensure that all residents have access to quality-of-life services and products. Her professional specialty is “creating something out of nothing”, by developing new departments, positions, programs and policies.
