Myra Henry, DJA Consultant, is an experienced facilitator and administrative change agent with a passion for integrating diversity, equity and inclusion principles within organizational systems. She has worked closely with organizational committees and leadership teams in higher education, medical centers, not for profit and community agencies to develop and deliver professional development and leadership training. With more than 20 years-experience in higher education and medical center management, Myra has worked with leadership and personnel at all levels. 

As a values-based leader, Myra currently serves as the Senior Director for Administrative Services at the River Campus Libraries at the University of Rochester. In this role, Myra oversees the library’s organizational development, finance, human resources and facilities management. She also serves as the UR Libraries Diversity and Inclusion sponsor and facilitator. Myra co-chairs UR’s D&I committee, is a facilitator for the UR Implicit Bias workshops and serves as an executive member of the University’s Diversity & Equity Committee. In the greater Rochester community, Myra also serves as a facilitator for the YWCA’s Racial Equity programs.

As a lifelong learner, Myra has completed the Leadership Coaching Certificate Program, the National Inclusive Excellence Academy and is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Executive Leadership.
