Program Description

Inclusion is a goal for all of our organizations, but we often stop at inspirational statements. What does inclusion look like concretely? In this 6-module course, you will learn practical skills and tools for developing inclusion in a visible way in your organization. The situations we find ourselves in every day are ripe with opportunities for an inclusive lens: working one-on-one, facilitating groups, setting policy, and living our values.

Who is this course for?

The Work of EDI: Integrating Inclusion into Organizational Practices is designed specifically with managers, supervisors, and people responsible for coordinating the work of others in mind. It will help you put into action your inclusive intentions and lead to higher levels of transparency, engagement, and trust in your teams.

Participants in this course will be able to:

Identify managerial and interpersonal communication skills that are essential for inclusive workplaces.

Explain how behavioral and structural inclusion are core components of work portfolios.

Readily access and apply practices for inclusive group work.

Demonstrate specific strategies for structural inclusion throughout the employee lifecycle.
